Anaheim Outlook

The Ducks won a wild game on Friday night against the Montreal Canadiens. Anaheim scored first, but quickly found themselves down 2-1.The Ducks did tie the game up and eventually had a 4-2 led early in the third period. The Canadiens then scored three time in a row to take a 5-4 lead. Chris Kreider scored a goal in the final minute to force overtime. Eventually Anaheim won in the shootout.

Anaheim acquired John Carlson from Washington late Thursday night. He is dealing with a lower-body injury and won’t play today.

The Ducks also traded Ryan Strome to Calgary for a 2027 draft pick.

Anaheim signed Ryan Poehling to a 4-year extension with a $3.75 mil AAV.

Mikael Granlund (upper-body injury) has been practiced and could return soon.

Troy Terry has been dealing with an upper-body injury and has not been practicing.
