Anaheim Outlook

The Ducks are currently 2-0-1 on this road trip. In the first game on the trip, they lost to Chicago 2-1 in overtime. In the next game they took down Nashville 5-2. Ross Johnston recorded a Gordie Howe hat trick with a goal, two assists, and a fight. In their most recent game they won a wild contest 7-5 over Boston. Mikael Granlund had a career night recording five total points(2 G + 3 A).

If the Ducks score more than one goal, then they are 4-0-0 this season. When they only score once, then they are 0-2-1. The Ducks have been without Chris Kreider the last two games. Anaheim is 1-for-8 on the man advantage without Kreider. The Ducks are 5-for-20 with Kreider on the power play.

Team Injuries/News:

Chris Kreider will miss his third straight game due to an illness.

Radko Gudas sustained a lower-body injury in the last game against Boston and will be out today.

Jansen Harkins has been activated off the IR.

Ryan Strome will join the Ducks at some point during the road trip, but is not expected to play according to Head Coach Joel Quenneville. Strome remains on the IR with an upper body injury.

Lightning Outlook 

Tampa Bay has had a rough start to this season only winning once in seven contests so far. They started the season with a pair of losses to Ottawa and New Jersey. They beat Boston, but have since been on a four game losing streak. Those four losses have been close as they lost two games in overtime and two in regulation all by one goal.
