The Ducks winning streak came to an end at seven games. Anaheim got down 1-0 in the opening minute against Colorado, but then tied the game up late in the first period. The Avs then scored once in the second and again early in the third to build a 3-1 lead. The Ducks pulled Dostal, but the Avs scored in the empty net and won 4-1.
