Anaheim Outlook
The Ducks are riding a three game winning streak having beat Detroit, Dallas, and Chicago. Anaheim finished their last homestand with a thrilling come from behind win against the Red Wings. The Ducks jumped out to a 1-0 lead, but then found themselves down 3-1 in the middle of the game. Anaheim then scored the next four goals en route to a 6-4 win.
While on a quick two game road trip, the Ducks jumped on the Stars building a 3-0 lead. Dallas rallied to pull within one, but Anaheim was able to score once more and win 4-2. In their last game they found themselves down by a goal to start the third in Chicago and we able to score twice in the final frame to pull out a 3-2 win.
Anaheim has been getting contributions offensively from several players as of late.

Buffalo Outlook
The Sabres also have a .500 record like the Ducks. Buffalo is currently on a four game road trip and have gone 1-1-0 so far on the trip. They started out in Philadelphia and got handed a 5-2 loss at the hands of the Flyers. Philly built a 4-0 lead heading into the third period. The Sabres scored twice to get back within two, but then an empty net goal by the Flyers ended as kind of rally.
In their last game, the Sabres shutout the Kings 1-0(Thank you!). Buffalo is 3-4-1 on the road this season and currently in 5th place in the Atlantic Division.
