Anaheim Outlook
The Anaheim Ducks started out their road trip in Chicago with a wild game against the Blackhawks. The Ducks ended up getting blown out 7-2, but the final period saw a scrum break out with nearly a goalie fight. It all started after one play when Mason McTavish and Jarred Tinordi mixed it up behind the Chicago net. McTavish slammed Tinordi on the ice and then everyone got involved.
Pavel Mintyukov then dropped the gloves with Reese Johnson, who probably regretted it as he was left with a very bloody nose. Radko Gudas and Mackenzie Entwistle also went at it. Petr Mrazek left his crease and pushed Gudas in the face which resulted in John Gibson skating down from center ice and ripping Mrazek’s goalie mask off his head. The Ducks lost on the scoreboard, but they won the fights.
Anaheim has gone 3-6-1 in their last 10 games. They are currently in seventh place in the Pacific Division.
