Anaheim Outlook

The Ducks continue their road trip tonight against the New York Rangers. Anaheim started out the trip with a 7-1 blow out loss to the Islanders on Saturday night. Head coach Dallas Eakins shuffled most of the forward lines and will likely make more adjustments for tonight’s game to get the Ducks hopefully on track.

Rocco Grimaldi signed a one year deal with the San Diego Gulls over the weekend. He joins the Anaheim organization at the AHL level, but he may have a chance to play in the NHL at some point this season.

Troy Terry leads the Ducks in scoring with 3 goals.

Roster Moves:

Noah Warren was reassigned to his junior team in Canada.

Injury News:

Jakob Silfverberg was scratched tonight since he battling the flu.

Urho Vaakanainen suffered an upper-body injury when he slammed into the boards during a preseason game against the San Jose Sharks. It’s unknown when he will be able to return.
