Anaheim Outlook
The Ducks losing streak continued this week against the St. Louis Blues. The game started well for Anaheim with Isac Lundestrom scoring in the opening minutes of the contest. The Blues would then score four in a row to take a 4-1 lead into the third period. Lunedstrom would bring the Ducks back within one by scoring a hat trick, but eventually Anaheim lost 5-4.

Poor starts, inconsistent play, and scoring have been issues for the Ducks this season. The Ducks average 2.05 goals a game, which ranks last in the league. They give up 2.91 against per game, which is 17th in the NHL. The power play is only 11.5% efficient, which ranks 29th in the NHL. The penalty kill is ranked 7th in the league at 85.0%.
The most telling stat is Anaheim is 0-10-6 when their opponents score two or more goals.
Max Comtois leads the team in scoring with eight goals.
Team News:
Yesterday Josh Mahura and Trevor Zegras were reassigned to the taxi squad. Today they were both back on the roster. The moves were paper transactions.
David Backes was also added to the roster.
Jamie Drysdale, Vinni Lettieri, and Anthony Stolarz were reassigned to the Gulls.
Lukas Dostal, Hunter Drew, Maxim Golod, and Max Jones were added to the taxi squad.
Injury Updates
Max Jones suffered a laceration to the face in the last game. He wanted to play, but was experiencing a great deal of pain according to Kent French, so he will sit out tonight.
Hampus Lindholm will not play tonight according to Coach Dallas Eakins. He was placed on the IR per Cap Friendly.
Carter Rowney(lower body) was injured in a collision last week and was placed on the IR.
Josh Manson(oblique) has been practicing, but is still listed on the IR.

St. Louis Outlook
The St. Louis Blues got down to Anaheim early on Monday, but tied the game in the first period and then rolled off three straight goals in the second to take a 4-1 lead. Even with the Ducks battling back, an empty net goal but the game out of reach.
