Anaheim Outlook
The Anaheim Ducks started the homestand with an offensive show scoring seven goals en route to a 7-4 win over the Jets. Carter Rowney led the team in scoring with two goals and recently called up Josh Mahura had three assists in the contest. Anaheim was down by a goal twice in the opening period but then exploded for four goals in the second period. Ryan Getzlaf continues to shoot the puck more this season and scored his third goal in as many games.
Tonight the Ducks square off with the Canucks, who have had a good start to the season and are tied for second place in the Pacific Division. The Canucks are ranked 8th in the league in scoring with 45 goals. So hopefully Anaheim saved some goals from Tuesday’s wild win for tonight. Lindholm will play tonight per the Athletic’s Eric Stephens, which should be an added boost defensively against the high flying Canucks.
Adam Henrique leads the team with eight goals.
