Anaheim Outlook
The Ducks finally ended their losing streak with a 3-0 shutout of Minnesota. Anaheim scored two quick goals to start the game and never looked back. Recently acquired Derek Grant played in the contest. Troy Terry and Max Jones were both called up from San Diego and played. Jones made his NHL debut. John Gibson stopped all 37 shots he faced en route to his second shutout of the season.
Jakob Silfverberg leads the team with 12 goals. Ryan Getzlaf has ten goals and leads the team with 32 total points(10 G + 22 A).
Injury Updates:
Ryan Kesler and Jakob Silfverberg were both injured in Anaheim’s loss to Detroit. They both have been placed on the injury reserve list.
Roster Moves:
None to report.
Trades:
Anaheim made three trades this week. Pontus Aberg was sent to Minnesota for Justin Kloos. Luke Schenn and a 2020 draft pick were sent to Vancouver for Michael Del Zotto. Lastly, the Ducks reacquired Derek Grant from Pittsburgh for Joseph Blandisi.

New Jersey Outlook
This past week the Devils won a wild game against Chicago by a final of 8-5. Since then New Jersey lost their last two games to Columbus and the New York Islanders each by a 4-1 score. The Devils average 2.91 goals per game, but they give up 3.38 goals against. The Devils have also had a difficult time in the face-off circle winning only 47.8% of their draws.
Kyle Palmieri leads the team with 22 goals and 38 total points.
