Game 4: Ducks Look For A Road Win
By Michael Walters
The Anaheim Ducks lost Game 3 by a final of 2-1. They play Game 4 tonight at 5 PM PT in Nashville. The Predators lead the series 2-1.
Anaheim Outlook
The Ducks played a decent road game against the Predators for two periods. In the third period, Nashville went all out putting tremendous amounts of pressure with their forecheck. They scored four times in the third period, but two goals were called back for goalie interference. Nashville end up winning 2-1. Randy Carlyle said Clayton Stoner, Kevin Bieksa, and Korbinian Holzer are all options for tonight. No word if any of them draw in tonight.
Keys To The Game
The Ducks had their best first period and worst third period against the Predators in Game 3. Anaheim needs to do a better job of establishing their forecheck and also create more traffic in front of Pekka Rinne. The Ducks were outshot 40 to 20 in Game 3 and can’t let that happen again. In the final period of Game 3 the Nashville forwards were all over John Gibson, which the defensemen needs to do a better job of clearing out around their own net. The Anaheim forwards need to return the favor to Rinne.

Nashville Outlook
The Predators got down by a goal after 40 minutes of play, but they then turned on the pressure in the third period. Nashville outshot Anaheim by a two to one margin. If Nashville can continue to put pressure with their forecheck and create chaos in front of Gibson, then they could take a commanding 3-1 series advantage tonight.
Keys To The Game
There isn’t much to change for the Nashville Predators. There were down after two periods, but by only one goal and easy over came that. They will look tonight to get a lead earl, get the crowd going, and but Anaheim on their heels immediately. If Nashville can score a few times early, then it might be a long night for Anaheim,
