Anaheim: Injuries Start To Mount
By Michael Walters
This past week the Ducks beat Tampa Bay and Colorado before losing to Minnesota. The Ducks lost two keys players, John Gibson and Jakob Silfverberg, this week to injuries. Silfverberg was knocked out of the game in Colorado and didn’t play in the Minnesota contest. Gibson started the game against the Wild but had to exit early with an injury. Both have upper-body injuries and it’s not clear if they will play this week.
On this show, we talk about the how the Ducks will have to adjust if Silfverberg or/and Gibson miss significant time. With the All-Star game coming up the timing of these injuries work in Anaheim’s favor. We also talk about the format of the All-Star Game and some of the activities leading up to it.
Additionally, we talk about some trade rumors, the Ducks watch party with the NHL Centennial Fan Arena trailer, and we listen to the audio of the hilarious goal call by Craig Elsten of the San Diego Gulls! Don’t miss out and listen to the show this week!
