Anaheim Outlook

The Ducks got down 3-1 to the Toronto Maple Leafs last night. They were able to rally and tie up the game to force overtime. Anaheim ended up losing in a shootout, but thanks to John Gibson they were able to earn a point. The Ducks are currently on a three game point streak.

Overall this season, Anaheim continues to thrive on special teams. The Ducks are 24.6% efficient on the power play, which is tied for 9th league. Their penalty kill is 83.5% efficient, which ranks 7th in the NHL. The Ducks are in second place in the Pacific Division.

Troy Terry leads the team in scoring with 23 goals.

Jacob Larsson and Vinni Lettieri were added to the roster from the taxi squad.

Adam Henrique was activated off the IR and will play tonight.

Derek Grant(lower-body) did not play last night.

Josh Mahura fell awkwardly into the net and did not return in the game against the Bruins. He is questionable for tonight.

Sonny Milano took an elbow to the face and did not return in the game against Minnesota. He was placed on the IR and is not with the team on the road trip.

Max Jones had surgery to repair a pectoralis major tendon tear and will be out for 4-6 months.

Montreal Outlook

The Canadiens are currently on a three game losing skid. They lost to Vegas and Colorado in overtime. In their last game they were ambushed 8-2 by Minnesota. They have gone 1-5-4 in their last 10 games and are in last place in the Atlantic Division.

The Canadiens average 2.17 goals per game, which ranks last in the league. They give up 3.76 goals against on average. On the power play they are 13.1% efficient, which ranks 31st in the league. They rank 30th in the league on the penalty kill at 73.2% efficiency.
