Anaheim Outlook

The Ducks got a beat down last night at the hands of the Wild. Anaheim got down 2-0 early in the game and eventually lost 7-3. Max Comtois, Derek Grant, and Trevor Zegras scored in the losing effort. Anaheim was without Troy Terry who tested positive and John Gibson who is still in the COVID protocol.

Anaheim continues to thrive on special teams. The Ducks are 26.4% efficient on the power play, which ranks 5th in the league. Their penalty kill is 85.3% efficient, which is tied for 4th in the NHL.

Troy Terry leads the team in scoring with 22 goals.

Injury/COVID News:

Sonny Milano took an elbow to the face last night and did not return to the game. He is questionable for tonight.

Simon Benoit was placed in the COVID protocol on Thursday and Troy Terry was placed on it Friday.

John Gibson is also still in the COVID protocol and not with the team in Minnesota.

Josh Mahura remains on the IR with an upper-body injury. He has resumed skating.

Adam Henrique has an lower-body injury and remains on the IR. He has been skating on his own, but the timeline for his return is unknown.

Max Jones had surgery to repair a pectoralis major tendon tear and will be out for 4-6 months.
