Anaheim Outlook
The Ducks continue their homestand tonight against the Edmonton Oilers. Anaheim is 0-2-1 in their first three games at home. Anaheim is currently on a four-game losing streak. The Ducks are 12-13-4 at home this season.
This will be the second meeting between these two teams. The Ducks were blown out in the first meeting in Anaheim by a score of 6-2. Anaheim got down early and battled back twice in the game, but Connor McDavid put it out of reach by scoring twice in the third period en route to earning a hat trick.
Adam Henrique leads the team with 23 goals.

Cam Fowler(lower-body) and Erik Gudbranson(upper-body) will both be out for about two weeks according to GM Bob Murray.
Roster Moves:
As part of the trade deadline yesterday, NHL players had to be listed on their respective AHL team rosters before 12 noon PT/3 PM ET yesterday in order to be able to play in the AHL season/playoffs when their NHL team’s season ends.
As a result, some teams sent players down to the AHL to then just recall them as paper transactions.
For the Ducks, those players included the following:
Christian Djoos, Max Jones, Kiefer Sherwood, and Sam Steel.
The players who were reassigned to San Diego were the following:
Kyle Criscuolo, Brendan Guhle, Joel Persson, Troy Terry
All the other new players the Ducks acquired are currently on the Ducks roster. Got it? Good. *Whew*

Edmonton Outlook
The Oilers are currently in second place in the Pacific Division. They sit just three points behind the Vegas Golden Knights. The Oilers are coming off a 4-2 win over the Los Angeles Kings(Thank You By The Way) and have gone 5-4-1 in their last 10 games.
Edmonton averages 3.16 goals per game and they give up 3.06 goals against per game. Their power play is 29.0% efficient, which is the best in the league. Their penalty kill is 84.7% efficient, which is second best in the league.
Leon Draisaitl leads the team in scoring with 36 goals.
Team News:
The Oilers were another team that went for it on the trade deadline.
First, the Oilers traded Kyle Brodziak and 2020 4th conditional round draft pick to Detroit for Mike Green.
Then they traded with Detroit once again trading Sam Gagner, a 2020 2nd round draft pick, and 2021 2nd round pick for Ryan Kuffner and Andreas Athanasiou.
They sent a 2021 5th round draft pick to Ottawa for Tyler Ennis.
Lastly, the Oilers traded Joel Persson to Anaheim for Angus Redmond and a conditional 2022 7th round draft pick.
