Podcast: Anaheim Fire Sale?
By Michael Walters
The Anaheim Ducks enter their league and All-Star break on a high note with a pair of victories over the Nashville Predators and Carolina Hurricanes. The entire team will have time off to reflect on this season. Jakob Silfverberg was the only representative for Anaheim at the All-Star Game, but he is going to miss it for good reason as his wife is expecting to give birth soon.
While the Ducks aren’t in action on the ice, there has been plenty of discussion about the team off the ice. Sportsnet’s Elliotte Friedman made comments about the Ducks looking to take on a bad contract in exchange to help build the youth of the team. Following those comments, discussions of trade talks by fans intensified.
On this show, we discuss Friedman’s comments, whether General Manager Bob Murray will make any significant moves, and if a full rebuild could be in store for Anaheim.

This show is dedicated to my uncle Jim Walters. He was a Ducks fan too and I will miss him greatly.
