Anaheim Outlook
The Anaheim Ducks are coming off a solid 3-0 win over the New York Islanders, who had been on a 17 game point streak(15-0-2). Ryan Getzlaf was credited with the first goal that had gone in the net but was touched by an Islander player last. Cam Fowler and Ondrej Kase added goals in the third to seal the victory.
The Ducks have shown they can compete with some of the league’s best teams like the Islanders and St. Louis Blues. Anaheim’s issue has been showing up every night. The Ducks have had games where they played well for 40 minutes, but then poorly for the remainder of the game. Hopefully, they can find a way to be more consistent as the season progresses.
Jakob Silfverberg and Ryan Getzlaf lead the team with nine goals each.
