Anaheim Outlook
The Anaheim Ducks are currently in the middle of a seven-game homestand. They have gone 2-1-1 so far beating Winnipeg and Vancouver but then losing to Chicago and Minnesota. In an odd bit of scheduling, the Ducks have had four days off and will look to get back on track against a difficult Edmonton team.
The Ducks have been trying to find their identity this season. They have been a better team than compared to last season’s, but they did struggle against two subpar teams in Chicago and Minnesota. With the extended time off this past week, hopefully, the Ducks can regroup and finish this homestand strong.
Adam Henrique leads the team with eight goals. Ryan Getzlaf and Jakob Silfverberg have 7 goals each.

Hampus Lindholm was placed on the IR.
Simon Benoit and Josh Mahura were called up from San Diego.

Edmonton Outlook
The Oilers are currently sitting up top of the Pacific Division. Edmonton will be on the road for a majority of the rest of November and they have been a decent road team with a 5-3-1 record.
One of the keys to Edmonton’s early success has been their special teams. Their power play is 27.5% efficient, which is second best only to Boston. Their penalty kill is ranked 9th at 84.5%. Edmonton has also played well defensively giving up 2.50 goals against per game, which is 5th best in the league.
Leon Draisaitl leads the team in scoring with 14 goals. James Neal has 12 goals.
Injury/Team Updates:
Kyle Brodziak(back) is on the IR and unfortunately won’t be able to play hockey again.
Joakim Nygard(ribs) is on the IR and could sometime this week.
Adam Larsson(leg) is on the LTIR and could return in about two weeks.
