The Anaheim Ducks are in the middle of a homestand that has seen them go 2-1-1 in the first four contests. The Ducks won a shootout style of game against the Jets 7-4 and then escaped with two points against a difficult Vancouver team.

Since then the Ducks dropped their last two games to two struggling teams in the Chicago Blackhawks and Minnesota Wild.
