Anaheim Outlook
The Anaheim Ducks finished their homestand with a 2-1 loss to the Calgary Flames. The Ducks scored first, but the Flames scored twice and Cam Talbot stood on his head to preserve the victory. Anaheim played well enough to at least earn a point in the contest but just came up short.
Anaheim hits the road again with games against Nashville, Dallas, Colorado, and Vegas. The Ducks were 2-2-0 on their first road trip of the season. The Ducks first game of the trip will be a good test as they will face Pekka Rinne, who has yet to lose in regulation. This game should be entertaining as both teams draw the ire out of each other.
Adam Henrique and Jakob Silfverberg lead the team in scoring with five goals.
Injury/Team Updates:
The Ducks have signed Luca Sbisa to a one-year deal and he will have to clear waivers per Sportsnet’s Elliotte Friedman. He will most likely report to San Diego, who has been struggling this season.
Sam Carrick was named the captain of the San Diego Gulls.
Brendan Guhle has been removed from the IR and has been practicing. He should return at some point on this road trip.
Projected Lineup

Nashville Outlook
The Nashville Predators are sitting just one game over .500, but they have been involved in some high scoring affairs. It all of their games, except for one, a total of seven or more goals has been scored in their contests. The Predators have scored 32 goals which is fifth highest in the league, but they have also given up 30 against.
Nashville has a decent powerplay that operates at 20.7% efficiency. The penalty kill, on the other hand, needs some serious help. Their PK unit is only 65.4% efficient which is second-worst in the league. Nashville is one of the best faceoff teams in the league at 53.4%, good for fourth in the league.
Filip Forsberg leads the team with five goals.
Injury/Team Updates:
Forsberg has missed the last two games due to a lower-body injury. He is listed as day-to-day.
