Anaheim Outlook
The Anaheim Ducks suffered their first loss of the season last night 2-1 against Pittsburgh.
The Ducks got down by a goal in the contest but were able to battle back to tie the game. The Penguins would later take the lead and the Ducks wouldn’t be able to score again. Anaheim didn’t play a terrible game, but they took too many penalties giving the Pens six power-play chances. The Ducks only gave up one power-play goal, but their own power-play had three unsuccessful attempts.
The Ducks are playing their first set of back-to-back games this season and have to regroup in a hurry. Expect Ryan Miller to get his first start in net tonight.

Ducks signed Bo Groulx to a three-year entry-level contract on 10-6-19.

Columbus Outlook
The Columbus Blue Jackets have started the season with one victory in three games. They lost their first two games to Toronto 4-1 and Pittsburgh 7-2. They won their last contest 4-3 over Buffalo in overtime.
The Blue Jackets have had a rough start defensively giving up 14 goals in just three games. They have also had issues with their penalty kill which ranks 29th at 62.5% efficiency. However, their power play does rank in the top 10 with a 33.3% efficiency. They do average over 34 shots on goal per game, so they will look to pepper the Ducks net especially with Anaheim playing back-to-back games.
Cam Atkinson leads the team with two goals and Nick Foligno leads the team in points with three(1 G + 2 A).
Injury/Roster Updates:
Brandon Dubinsky(wrist) is on the IR and out indefinitely.
