Carrick Gets Extension; Assistant Coach News

The Anaheim Ducks have given an extension to Sam Carrick. The contract is a one-year one-way deal worth $700,000 per Cap Friendly.
Carrick spent most of his time playing in San Diego last season with the Gulls. He appeared in 61 games recording 61 total points(31 G + 29 A). He played in 16 AHL playoffs game recording 14 total points(7 G + 7 A). He also appeared in six games in Anaheim last season, recording one assist with an on-ice rating of -1.
Other recent moves include the Ducks sending qualifying offers to Chase De Leo and Justin Kloos. Anaheim did not qualify Jake Dotchin, Trevor Murphy, or Keaton Thompson. For more visit: Anaheim Qualifies Two Players
Assistant Coaches
Dallas Eakins will retain Marty Wilford as an assistant coach. It’s also expected that Mark Morrison will return as well. Rich Preston won’t be returning and it’s not certain who will replace him.
Injury & Player Updates(Per Athletic’s Eric Stephens)
Troy Terry skated again yesterday as he took part in an on-ice workout with the team. He was injured back on March 29th when he blocked a shot in the game against Calgary. He suffered a non-displaced leg fracture. He appeared in 32 games in Anaheim last season recording 13 total points(4 G + 9 A).
Brendan Guhle was present at practice today. He had an oblique injury that caused him to miss the end of last season. He appeared in six games in Anaheim, recording one assist.
Isac Lundestrom is not present at the development camp this week. With all the traveling he did between Sweden, Anaheim, and San Diego the team felt it was better he took this week off from the camp. For more visit: Ducks Development Camp
