Comtois Joins Gulls; Henrique To Play In IIHF
By Michael Walters
Max Comtois has reported to the San Diego Gulls according to Jonathan Habashi of the Express. The Drummondville Voltigeurs were eliminated from the playoffs by the Halifax Mooseheads, so it comes as no surprise that Comtois has returned to San Diego.
Comtois registered 15 total points in 16 playoff games(11 G + 4 A) with Drummondville. This past season he played in four games with the Gulls and scored one goal. The return of Comtois comes at a perfect time as the Gulls have advanced to the second round of the Calder Cup Playoffs and won’t play again until Friday.

Henrique To Play In IIHF World Championship
Adam Henrique has decided to participate in the IIHF World Championship for Team Canada. He played in all 82 games of Anaheim’s season and recorded 42 total points(18 G + 24 A). He was the only Anaheim player to dress for every single game this season. The Anaheim Ducks had the most man game lost by cumulative minutes.
Hampus Lindholm, Jakob Silfverberg, and Rickard Rakell won’t participate for Team Sweden. Lindholm is going to use the off-season to rehab a hip issue that bothered him at the beginning of last season. Rakell had an ankle issue and Silfverberg also had a lower-body injury during last season. Both will also use the extra time to get ready for next season.
