Anaheim Outlook

The Ducks are coming off a 3-2 loss to the Los Angeles Kings this past Sunday. Anaheim got off to a slow start and found themselves down 3-1 after the first period. The Ducks did play better in the second half of the contest, but they were only able to score one more goal. Ryan Kesler(hip) missed his second game in a row.

Ryan Getzlaf lead the team in assists (29) and points (40) while Jakob Silfverberg has a team-leading 19 goals this season.

Injury Updates:

Brendan Guhle is still day-to-day with an upper-body injury. He is progressing well according to assistant coach Marty Wilford.

Nashville Outlook

The Predators are currently in second place in the Central Division. They sit just one point behind Winnipeg, but the Jets do have two games in hand. Nashville has gone 5-5-0 in their last 10 games. They haven’t played since Saturday when they lost 5-3 to the Carolina Hurricanes. They got down 3-1 and tried to rally, but came up short. Nashville did acquire Wayne Simmonds at the trade deadline. He has one assist in five games played with the Predators.

Viktor Arvidsson leads the team in scoring with 28 goals. He missed Monday’s practice and might not play tonight. Ryan Johansen leads the team in total points with 55(11 G + 44 A).
