Anaheim Outlook
This week the Ducks beat the Nashville Predators in a hard fought 2-1 shootout win. Anaheim then went to Vegas and lost 5-0. The Ducks have gone 3-5-2 in their last 10 games. Jakob Silfverberg and Pontus Aberg lead the team with five goals. Ryan Kesler, Ryan Getzlaf, and Adam Henrique have four goals each. Rickard Rakell(3 G + 10 A) leads the team with 13 total points.
Injury News
Patrick Eaves and Cam Fowler were both recently placed on the IR. Eaves took a hard check in Friday’s loss to Minnesota and has an upper-body injury(back spasms). He could play on Sunday. In the game against Nashville, Fowler was struck in the cheek area from a deflected puck. Fowler is scheduled to have surgery today. Carter Rowney(Upper-Body) is also on the IR. Corey Perry(knee) and Korbinian Holzer(wrist) are on the long-term injury list.

Sam Carrick was reassigned to San Diego. Max Comtois is currently on a conditioning loan in San Diego.

Toronto Outlook
The Maple Leafs are on a four-game road trip. They lost the first game against Boston, but then beat Los Angeles on Tuesday and San Jose last night. They finish the trip tonight in Anaheim. Toronto averages 3.58 goals per game which is second best in the NHL. Colorado leads the league at 3.61 goals per game. The Leafs also give up 2.63 goals against which is fifth best in the league. Their power play is seventh in the league with a 26.8% efficiency. The penalty kill is 81.8% efficient which is ninth in the league.
John Tavares leads the team with 12 goals. Auston Matthews has 10 goals and skated yesterday. He has been out since his shoulder injury on October 27th. Mitch Marner leads the team with 25 total points(6 G + 19 A).
