Anaheim Outlook
The Anaheim Ducks currently sit at 5-1-1 after beating the New York Islanders 4-1. Ryan Kesler turned in a two-goal performance and had a message for his doubters after the game as he said his performance was a “big middle figure” to them. He is tied with Adam Henrique and Jakob Silfverberg for the team lead in scoring with three goals.
Pontus Aberg was recalled yesterday and Tory Terry was sent down to San Diego. Terry and Max Jones both played last night in the Gulls 4-2 win. Terry had two goals in the game. It was Jones’ first game of the season since injuring his thumb during the summer.
Ryan Getzlaf skated with Isac Lundestrom and Rickard Rakell yesterday. He could be in tonight according to Elliott Teaford of the OC Register. The Ducks continue to find ways to win, but they need to work on their face-offs and try to create more shots on goal. Their face-off winning percentage is 44.4%, which is ranked 29th in the league. Anaheim has the lowest shots on goal average per game at 24.

Vegas Outlook
The Golden Knights haven’t had the start to the season that wanted dropping four of their first seven games. Vegas is a tale of two different teams. If they hold their opponents to two goals or less, then they are 3-0. When their opponents score three or more goals, then they are 0-4. If they can keep this a tight game tonight, then they have a chance to win. Jon Marchessault leads the team with eight total points(4 G + 4 A). Cody Eakin is second in scoring with three goals.
Projected Lineup

Jon Marchessault – William Karlsson – Reilly Smith
Max Pacioretty – Erik Haula – Tomas Hyka
