Kesler Continues To Find Motivation
By Michael Walters
Ryan Kesler scored two goals in the Ducks win over the New York Islanders this week. In his post-game interview, he said the performance was a “big middle finger” to those who doubted he would return to form after his surgery. Mike Coppinger of the LA Times asked Kesler how much he enjoyed proving his doubters wrong and he replied, “I love it. It’s my favorite thing in the world.”
Despite only playing in four games, Kesler is tied for the team lead in goals scored with three and has four total points. On this show, we analyze Kesler’s play and how he always seems to find ways to motivate his game. We also analyze Anaheim’s overall performance while discussing lineups, roster moves, injuries, and the return of Nick Ritchie.
