VIDEO: Ducks Get Blown Out In Game 3

The Anaheim Ducks traveled to San Jose to face the Sharks for Game 3. John Gibson was in net against Martin Jones.
First Period
The Sharks would strike first as Logan Couture would score just under four minutes into the game. The Ducks got a power play chance later in the period and would answer back as Rickard Rakell got one past Jones. The teams would head to the second period tied 1-1.
Second Period
The Sharks took control of the game by scoring four straight times in the middle frame. Joonas Donskoi and Marcus Sorensen would both score in the opening four minutes to give the Sharks a 3-1 lead. Eric Fehr would score halfway through the period to extend 4-1. Later Francois Beauchemin would take a penalty for slashing and the Sharks would convert to go up 5-1. Gibson’s night was done as Ryan Miller would come in to start the third period.
Third Period
In the final frame, everything came unglued as Ryan Getzlaf was called for a double minor. Joe Pavelski would score to make it 6-1 on the power play. Corey Perry would later be called for a penalty and Getzlaf would get ejected from the game. The Ducks would continue to get called for penalties in the final minutes of the game and the Sharks would add two more power play goals to make it an 8-1 final.
