Anaheim Outlook:

The Ducks will have Jakob Silfverberg and Ryan Getzlaf back in the lineup tonight. Anaheim is still without Hampus Lindholm and Ryan Kesler. Lindholm was activated off the IR, but will still not play tonight. Joseph Blandisi and Nick Ritchie will not play tonight either. The Ducks recalled Andy Welinski yesterday. Jared Boll cleared waivers and was assigned San Diego. Jaycob Megna and Kevin Roy were also reassigned to San Diego.

Keys To The Game

The Ducks need to limit their breakdowns defensively. They played a solid game against Minnesota last Friday and could have won if not for a few defensive miscues. Anaheim hopes they can avoid going to any kind of overtime as they are 2-7 when the game gets extended past the third period.

Anaheim’s Projected Lineup:

Offense
Rickard Rakell – Ryan Getzlaf – Corey Perry
Andrew Cogliano – Adam Henrique – Jakob Silfverberg
Chris Wagner  – Antoine Vermette – Ondrej Kase

Kevin Bieksa – Andy Welinski

Carolina Outlook:

Carolina has 29 points and is tied for last with Philadelphia in the Metropolitan Division. Jeff Skinner leads the team with 11 goals. Teuvo Teravainen and Elias Lindholm both has eight goals.

The Hurricanes lead the league in shots on goal per game at 35.32. They will look to stay on the forecheck and pepper the Ducks net. They also need to stay out of the penalty box as their penalty kill is 75.36% efficient, which ranks 29th in the league.
